For Immediate Release: Friday, June 24, 2022 12:25 PM

The Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans (SWBNO) has released its 2021 Consumer Confidence Report on Water Quality, which reveals the utility’s compliance with federal and state drinking water quality standards.

“A core part of our mission is to provide New Orleans with clean drinking water,” said Ghassan Korban, Executive Director. “I am proud to work alongside the SWBNO employees who provide this essential resource to our city.”

The 2021 Consumer Confidence Report on Water Quality contains important information about the federally regulated contaminants detected in New Orleans’ water last year. The report also summarizes the SWBNO’s recently adopted Five-Year Strategic Plan and major upcoming initiatives like smart metering.

I am pleased to share this information with our customers and am confident that we will continue to provide New Orleans with high-quality drinking water as we implement several strategic initiatives to improve service and our customers’ lives,” Korban said.

All SWBNO account holders will receive a mailed copy of the water quality report by July 1, 2022. It is available online or you can view it by clicking the blue button below.
