On Thursday, October 29th, 2026, Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans (SWBNO) crews will be performing a test closure, which will temporarily disrupt your water service to facilitate repairs.
You may experience low or no water pressure during the test closure for approximately 30-45 minutes throughout the day. Water is scheduled to be turned back on immediately after confirming the water main was successfully isolated.

When water is restored, run your faucets for 5 minutes to flush out the lines before resuming regular use. If water is not restored within one hour after end time, please contact us at 52-WATER (504.529.2837).
