When
- Aug 11, 2026 4:30 AM – 4:30 PM CT
Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans (SWBNO) contractor, Roubion Construction, will be performing a closure which will temporarily disrupt your water services.
WHEN:
Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 4:30AM –4:30PM
WHERE:
- Decatur St. from St. Peter St. to Ursulines Ave.
- Dumaine St. from Chartres St. to the River
When water is restored, run your faucets for 5 minutes to flush out the lines before resuming regular use.
If water is not restored within one hour after end time, please contact us at the email/phone number below.
Gauges will be placed and monitored by a SWBNO crew during the closure. The procedure will be aborted, and the closure opened immediately if there are any unacceptable pressure losses during the closure or if any pressure gauge readings fall to 30psi. If you are outside of the expected impact area and experience low or no water pressure - or to report a water or sewer emergency anytime - call 504-52-WATER, choose your language option and press 1 for emergency.
