NEW ORLEANS- Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans (SWBNO) contractor Impetus will implement lane closures on S. Claiborne Ave. (riverside) from Leonidas St. to Cambronne St. on Tuesday, Mar. 12 to facilitate sewer line replacement on the 2300 block of Joliet St. Traffic will be shifted to the lane adjacent to the neutral ground, which will remain open to through traffic. The 2300 block of Joliet St. will also be closed to through traffic as part of this closure.

The closure will be in effect on Tuesday, Mar. 12 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. This closure is necessary to accommodate sewer line replacements as part of the Sewer System Evaluation and Rehabilitation Program (SSERP). Signage and traffic control measures such as barrels and fencing are on onsite to direct drivers and pedestrians.
