New Orleans - The water main repair at the Carrollton Water Plant is still underway, so some customers may be experiencing lower than normal pressure especially during peak usage hours or in multi-story buildings. While this complex repair will likely last through the weekend, crews will work around the clock until the repair is complete. We will not stop working until water pressure is back to normal levels.

We are continually monitoring water pressure throughout the city. At this time, while pressure in some areas is lower than normal, it is not below 20 psi which is the threshold to call a boil water advisory. We will continue to monitor, and in accordance with the Louisiana Department of Health, will alert the public should water pressure drop below the mandated threshold.
