Street Closure for Water Main Repair – Leonidas Street

NEW ORLEANS – Starting today, Jan. 16, 2020, through tomorrow Jan. 17, 2020, Sewerage & Water Board of New Orleans (SWBNO) will begin repairing a 43’’ water main near the intersection of Leonidas and Apple streets. The repair will require a closure of Leonidas Street from Apple Street to Nelson Street. Residents are encouraged to avoid the area.
While we don’t expect any impacts to water service, we urge residents to call 52-WATER if they experience a drop in water pressure.
