TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Water Main Repair on South Claiborne Avenue and General Pershing Street

New Orleans – On Monday, Oct. 21, 2019, crews working for Sewerage & Water Board will begin repairing a broken water main near the corner of South Claiborne Avenue and General Pershing Street. The project will require the closure of the left two downtown bound lanes on South Claiborne Avenue. While the far right lane will remain open, residents should expect delays. We do not expect the repairs to affect water service.
Lanes are expected to reopen by Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019.
