Water valve testing may lead to low water pressure this week on North Carrollton Avenue in Mid-City

NEW ORLEANS -- The Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans (SWBNO) will be testing underground water valves this week on North Carrollton Avenue and Canal Street.
The tests will determine SWBNO's schedule to repair valves in the area, but they may also cause low water pressure for nearby residences and businesses.
The likely impacted area stretches along North Claiborne Avenue from Canal Street to Orleans Avenue. The testing will take place from 9 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, to 5 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13.
