Boil Water Advisory Issued for Entire East Bank of Orleans Parish

At approximately 10: 30 Friday night, the Sewerage & Water Board lost 25 cycle power at its main water plant, causing low water pressure throughout the East Bank of the City.
The Board has restored its 25-cycle power and is also operating on commercial power. Crews are on duty working to correct the situation.
