We're pleased to share our latest drinking water quality report! The report shows SWBNO continues to provide quality drinking water to New Orleans according to federal and state water quality standards.
Sewerage & Water Board of New Orleans (SWBNO), in consultation with the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH), is testing water quality samples, which may take up to 24 hours to achieve results. Until clear test results are back, a precautionary boil water advisory (BWA) remains in effect for parts of New Orleans East which includes:
Morrison Rd. from Berg Rd to Dune Dr
Dune Dr from Morrison Rd to Hayne Blvd
Hayne Blvd from Dune Dr to Berg Rd
Chef Menteur Highway from Industrial Pkwy to Chef Menteur Pass, which includes the Venetian Isles subdivision and including businesses along the Industrial Pkwy and Intracoastal Dr.
Old Gentilly Rd from Inner Harbor Navigation Canal to Elaine St

Sewerage & Water Board of New Orlealns Tornado Response

SWB has dispatched crews to New Orleans East to assess tornado-related damages to homes and businesses. Crews will remain in the area until all water services that may have been affected by the storms are fully restored. Customers needing to report damaged water or sewer services or ask questions should call 529-2837.
