We’re Improving Your Water System – Little Woods Neighborhood: Fulton Street and Vanderkloot Avenue

For Immediate Release: Friday, March 13, 2020 9:50 AM

New Orleans – Starting at 9 a.m. March 14, 2020, Sewerage & Water Board crews will repair a broken water valve on Fulton Street and Vanderkloot Avenue in the Little Woods neighborhood. This work is being done in order to avoid a future unexpected loss of service for our customers in this area. This work will have no impact on traffic.

During this repair, some residents in the Little Woods neighborhood will likely experience low to no water pressure. All water pressure is expected to be restored before the end of day. We encourage residents in the area to make any necessary preparations and call 52-WATER immediately if they experience a drop in pressure.

For residents who experience low or no water pressure, once the repair is complete and your pressure has returned, please run your faucets for 5 minutes to flush your pipes before resuming normal use of your water.

We appreciate the patience of our customers while we work to improve our water system.
