August 13, 2007 - Congressional Delegation Will Visit S&WB for Briefing on Damages, Needs and Progress of Systems - A group of 14 U.S. Representatives will tour the Sewerage & Water Board's East Bank Water Treatment Plant on Tuesday and be briefed on the devastation, restoration and plans for full recovery of Board facilities damaged by Katrina. August 9,2007 - Water Service Interruption - Residents living in a section of Gentilly will experience an interruption in water service on Saturday and Sunday, August 11th and 12th from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. while the Sewerage and Water Board repairs a 6-inch water main and valves that service the area. August 2, 2007 - S&WB Has Resumed Adding Fluoride To Drinking Water - The Sewerage & Water Board of New Orleans has resumed adding fluoride to the City's drinking water supply. Both the East Bank and Algiers Water Treatment Plants of Orleans Parish began adding fluoride to the treatment process on Wednesday, Aug 1, 2007. ( More )

January 26, 2007 - Message From Sewerage & Water Board Regarding Pumping Station No.Six - Please allow us to first state that there is not now nor has there ever been a turf war at the pumping station or a Jefferson Parish vs. New Orleans war.
