S&WB Will Conduct Four Public Meetings On Infrastructure Improvements
|
The Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans will conduct its third series of quarterly public information meetings next week in City Council Districts A, B, C and D. District E’s meeting was held Oct. 20.
The agenda includes an overview of the Board’s water, sewerage and drainage systems and progress reports on the Sewerage System Evaluation and Rehabilitation Program and drainage projects of the Southeast Louisiana Flood Control Program (SELA).
Details of all S&WB work underway in each council district will be provided so that citizens will be aware of the Board’s efforts to improve the infrastructure in their neighborhoods.
Information will also be presented on funding sources, billing system improvements and public education and community service programs.
Materials, displays and videos describing the three systems will be available.
