The Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans issues the following statement update:
Drinking Water
The Eastbank of New Orleans remains under a boil water order. This order remains in effect until approval is given by the Department of Healh and Hospitals (DHH). Currently, the Eastbank Water Treatment Plant is producing 100-136 million gallons per day. Board employees are finding and repairing significant leaks throughout the system.
