S&WB To Conduct Meetings on Infrastructure Projects, Improved Technology, New Services


The Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans, founded 105 years ago, will conduct meetings in each of the City Council Districts.

The public is invited to learn about high-tech repair processes, see state-of-the-art equipment and meet S&WB staff members.

Features include:

  • Progress reports on sewer, water and drainage projects

  • Hands-on computer instructions for SWB website, customer account info on-line and sewer projects in neighborhoods

  • Tips on repairs for leaking commodes and faucets

  • Info on the treatment process and high quality of drinking water produced each day by the Board.

    All meetings begin at 7 p.m. The dates and locations are:
