Water Rate Increase Meeting

The Sewerage & Water Board of New Orleans will conduct its third community meeting to discuss a proposed water rate increase.

The meeting will provide an overview of the water system and its need for repair and replacement, information about the proposed rate structure and also information regarding future rate increases. There will also be a short presentation from Black and Veatch, water system consultants on the need for improvement throughout the city.
